Character Classes

Warrior

The warrior is a melee expert, plain and simple. He has the highest natural strength and can easily wear the heaviest equipment. He will have the highest non-magical damage and the greatest number of hit points than the other three classes to boot. To compensate, he has poor magical abilities and only fair ranged attack. There are several magical skills he can use effectively, however, including healing, teleport, firewall, and stone curse. Being the easiest character class in the beginning, he becomes the most difficult at higher dungeon levels. Surviving hell will take skill, strategy and above-average equipment.

Rogue

The rogue is the most versatile character of the three. Although not as strong in melee combat as the warrior, and not as proficient in spell casting as the sorcerer, the rogue is strong in both realms. True masters of ranged combat, she can fire her bow as fast as a warrior can swing his sword with haste! She also has good melee capabilities, however limited by slow attack speeds. Her naturally high dexterity will allow her more options for a melee weapon as she will rarely need a magical bonus for her to-hit %. It will also give her very high armor class and excelent blocking for melee battles. With the right equipment, she is also able to be an effective spell-caster by raising her magic attribute. Finally, both vitality and magic give equal bonus to life and mana, so using mana shield is also a valid option.

Sorcerer

The sorcerer is the undisputed ruler of spell casting. He can cast spells as fast as a warrior can swing his sword. with a very high magic attribute, the sorcerer gets huge bonuses to his mana pool - easily double a warriors hit points. He has the greatest chance to connect with his magical attacks so he will be able to destroy large mobs more quickly than any other class. Because of his great magical offense, his proficiency in melee combat is minimized. Very low maximum strength prevents him from wearing the heaviest armors easily and his melee damage will be insignificant. Furthermore, he is the most difficult class in the beginning and takes some work to increase his knowledge of spells to effective levels.
