High AC has always been my natural playing style for mages, and Lang is no exception. My first legit sorcerer was also a "tank" with about 210 AC in hell
diff. He used: obsidian great helm, obsidian flail, and an awesome field plate (50 AC) at clvl 35, just before he found a wizardspike. The AC was virtually
zero in hell/caves where he played. Also, it took me a few tries to get "legit" right, so the original Lang would dupe books as he could read them. I was
quite newbie back then, now I just look back and laugh. The sorcerer isn't really my favorite class, but he matches my playing style the closest so I tend
to play him the most. He does various dungeon runs and item finding for my other two characters.
